Our home AC went out on July 4th.

We are having a new one installed today! 5 ton Lennox. It's amazing technology! It has an inverter that converts the unit to DC power and only uses 4 amps! Made in America by Capitalists.

The last time ours was out I used a small Wal Mart window unit..

...110 volt. It made it livable while we awaited a repair and it cost about $150. We bought it before when our power was out for several days after a big storm.

Sweet! When mine has had problems my wife checks into a hotel and leaves me here to wait on the repair man.

Oh hell, I just saw the latest oil price. You can buy an extra house just in case...

I just put in a new one last year myself . Mine isn’t as fancy as yours but it seems to do the job. My last one was giving me a little trouble but it was close to 20 years old hopefully this one will out last me
