My 16 year old Carrier HVAC here is still soldiering on in the summer heat...

...It has had 2 major repairs in 16 years - once on the AC side at $2100 and once on the heat side at $2600 or so. These large, super high efficiency systems invoke expensive repairs. I have a 5 ton unit with multiple speeds and multiple zones.

I keep thinking it's time may be up.

Was that one of your family members that ICE shot in Texas
