I'm through mowing!

Front yard, side yards, back yard. It was HOT! Heat index at 105.

but you work too hard in the heat!!!

We have a real temperature of 103. Heat index is around 106 or 107 - probably because of lower humidity of only 33%.

So far we have had .05 inches of rain. I took a nap and feel great.

Not me! I ain't going out there without an air conditioned lawn mower....

...it is so hot and dry here - in spite of a couple of showers last week - that tree limbs are falling all over the place. I have never seen so many. It takes 30 minutes to pick them all up prior to mowing.

I will mow again Tomorrow ERRRR!

I seldom ever had to mow my lawn in July And August before but we had a lot of rain this year. Once a week every week in this heat is hard on me!

Wet a towel, put it in the freezer, cut 2 eye holes in it. Get to mowing.

I tried that with a wet bed sheet but it upset the black neighbors...
