It's 8:55 and the front, back and side yards are mowed.

It got so black in the west last evening that I thought for sure we would have a storm. Well, I got less than five minutes of sprinkling rain drops and a view of the storm system rolling to the northeast - completely missing us.

Yes it is supposed to be 105 high again. But on the up side - the forecast changed a bit for next week - there won't be any triple digit temps. We'll see.

96 is still very hot and I hate that your a/c is out until Monday. And you have already been mowing first thing this morning. You work so hard! I wish for you some relaxation and cooler temps on this Saturday in the dog days of summer! Had a friend mention that phrase on the phone this week - which reminded me of grumpy and other family who used to say it. My friend looked it up - the phrase originates with ancient Greece and Sirius the dog star.

Glad your days will not be triple digits. I'm also all my mowing was done before it got hot here. It's cool on this end of the house and I'm enjoying it. By Thursday this whole house will be in the low 70's and both units will have been replaced with a 10 year warranty. I told my wife we won't have to go through this again. You stay safe!
