4 tamales covered in chili with grated cheese, diced onion, and sliced jalapenos. Sliced of bread on the side.

Tamales sound good! I had one slice of pepperoni pizza. On the happier side...we had a small rain shower, even a clap of thunder. And possibly a little more thru the evening and night. The real temp is right at 100 but it does not really feel that hot probably due to the brief showers. I am going to be so so happy when fall gets here. Hope you are finding some cool air for the evening. I know you will be happy when Monday and Tuesday arrive.

My mother was from a family with 4 girls and 4 boys. She was the youngest. Her job was ironing and cleaning the bathrooms. She never learned to cook. The older sisters did that. As a result, when I was growing up, most our meals came from cans. We hit triple digits tomorrow and by next Wednesday (hopefully) they'll be 2 new units pumping cold air. I enjoy Fall too, except for the leaves I have to mulch.
