How can Lucky be a farmer and hate capitalism??

If Lucky truly is a farmer then his farm is his business. Is Lucky saying that he would not welcome a chance to increase his profits from farming? Is he really that stupid? (YES)

I guess Lucky would rather work on a collective government farm where he gets exactly what the government allows, grows exactly what they say and makes no more than less capable farmers who also answer to the government.
