today. I'll mow one little spot I missed today. You stay safe in your activities.

Yes it is nice and cool...around 70 degrees. They are forecasting a high in the 80's.

If it was one little spot, then you are probably already done mowing! Happy Columbus Day - especially for those federal workers who need a Monday off. 😉

Haven't even started the mower yet but I eventually will. It's 65 here now. Going to be a nice day. Stay safe.

I'm just finishing my first cup of coffee.

See how weird the weather is??? We are at a higher temperature than you are - and THAT is not usual at all in October.

According to TWC - both our areas (and TEXRA's) are under an unstable air mass. But you and TEXRA are NOT in the red zone this week. TWC prediction is west Texas on up through Oklahoma and into Kansas (possibly Nebraska as well). So, we'll see.

But I can tell you twenty-eight years ago (also in October) when we received 10" of rain in one evening - people had to break out the boats. FACT! It was a big damn mess - no where for the water to go when the water table is so high.

I just ate a poached egg on toast. May have to put on a long sleeve shirt to mow that little spot I missed. Weather is crazy. Late Atlantic hurricanes starting to show up. I just hope they steer clear of the US. Wind is not my friend with these dead pines.

Done and mulched some leaves too.

You are getting more done than I am

I am on hold and "caller number 15 in the que" - Monday Monday Monday - and getting set up for appointments is ridiculous!

I only see 2 doctors. My dentist and skin doctor. They set up my next appointment and give me a card with it written down when I leave their office. Lucky me.

It only took 28 minutes but I got through. Sigh.

...and, just as it has been for several days, the high will be around 91 degrees. The high will be the same for the next couple of days but the overnight low is jumping back into the mid-70's. Those 75 degree nights feel warm and muggy.
