He was born on October 1, 1925. He was exactly a year younger than Jimmy Carter. Frank was 99 years, 6 months & 24 days.
His funeral will take place on Friday, May 2, 2025 at St. Raphael's Catholic Church, Duluth, MN. He will be buried in the St. Joseph's Cemetery a couple of miles from his birthplace, the farm where we lived until we moved to Hermantown (Duluth) MN & lived in Hermantown till last year.
He was blessed to have attended Mass on both the Vigil of Easter & Easter Sunday Mass & also have received the Sacrament of the Sick while he was still awake & able to comprehend the blessing he was receiving as the priest prayed for him.
He spent time with us on Easter Sunday afternoon at the delicious meal our son, Jordan prepared & was able to participate in conversation.
Jordan & I have been working hard to plan & take care of the many aspects that go into planning a service, lunch, burial, and meeting with &/or contacting
numerous people, organizations & businesses. A few years ago there were fewer rules & regulations & planning a funeral was so much simpler than it is nowadays.
I will provide a legacy website in the near future.
