If anyone here is a member of the British Vintage Wireless Society (BVWS) I suggest you go immediately to page 44 of the latest Bulletin (the excellent BVWS magazine, mine arrived today) where you will find a fascinating article by Dr Martin van der Ven called “My transistor radios & the offshore radio stations.”

Martin mentions many sets that included the offshore stations on their dials, with a lot of great photos. He also tells us how he became interested in the stations. There are some useful links but I won’t post them without permission. A highly recommended read.
