Sebastian was their debut single - end of August 1973. No plays that I remember in England, but it was pretty bit in the Benelux and France. EMI even tried putting out out again in early 74, but not still did nowt. Judy Teen was the one a few months later that broke them.
At this time, Steve Harley was going out with a Dutch backing singer called Yvonne Keeley , who is heard on some Cockney rebel tracks and later had a few hits of her own (one hit #3 in the UK) and became a DJ on Holland FM in the 1990s.
Yvonne's sister's voice is very well-known to you all as the angelic lady on the "C'mon and sail away with Veronica" jingles - the ever-lovely Patti Paay .
