Recollections may vary.
I was living in Southend at the time so had a decent signal on the tranny, and even in the Anglia 105E with the whip aerial released.
My recollections are that Dave Owen did the early brekkie show, (Snap Crackle and Pop?) until 8am, then the cloggies were on til 6pm(?) when the lads took over the service.
I do recall Adriaan's statement that they would close at the end of August, and for the last two weeks it would be 24 English as a tribute to how popular they were, and the fact that they were on the baot and the cloggies on tape (I believe).
Happy days, I had several requests read out by Steve England saying I was listening in the garden, whilst listening in the garden!
Full circle to today and Steve has read out a couple of e-mais I sent to him on the current BOSS Atlantis. Nice.
Scoobs.
