Lyn was indeed running the land-side of the operation. In fact she gave me the gig, it was August 1978, not 1977, Ian. A little known fact (and I dare say of no interest at all) is that I was the last DJ taken on by Caroline in the 70s. Johnny Lewis (as Stephen Bishop) and Nick Richards followed me but they weren't taken on as Jocks. Lyn organised crew, tenders, food etc. It was Lyn that we went to for our wages after coming off the ship. I have her to thank for the career I've had, although it took three different audition tapes and Mark Lawrence leaving before she agreed.
