Hello,
I have not seen 'Captain' Oates comments. I am not very good with social media. I would like to see what he has said.
PM.
It does seem odd that the outcome of his "Car boot" court case has not been published.
I see that once I posted a link on the thread on FB, of your own favourable court outcome of ownership of the Ross, he has not posted since.
Do you know what he meant by the "Blue book" entry? Is this something that now should be done?
Interesting about the "Boris" connection - & yes, I very much doubt if Joanna or Brian have even heard of his "Charity" that very probably, begins at home
An unusual man for sure,
As the supposed head of a worthy charity his replies to those questioning the validity of the charity are more like a verbal pub brawl.
A quick search shows that he was prosecuted ( don't know the outcome ) for driving at and injuring a traffic marshal at an outdoor event.
Interestingly also, the Blue Seas Protection web site states that Silas Oates donated the ship Rainbow Warrior to Greenpeace in the 80's. Whereas a history of said ship says that Greenpeace bought the ship directly from M.A.F.F for £37.000 in 1978.
Seems that Garry Oates tells a good story such as that ' maybe ' an attempt to lobby parliament by two persons one dressed as a lobster and the other as a shark, may have had a hand in the resignation of Boris Johnson shortly after.
So I wonder if Joanna Lumley and Brian May actually know that they are patrons of the charity.
Seems that it is not only in the world of radio that people tell fabulous stories of their achievements that collapse as soon as a spotlight is shone on them.
PM.
