Thanks David-abc - Whilst I admit, I'm a long-term supporter of Caroline, I also feel Atlantis achieved a great deal, with a very little in the early 1970s. That little station had a great spirit, that was sadly crushed - rather like what happened on Aug 14th 1967, when Radio Scotland, Big L, Essex, City, 390 etc - were all crushed & their spirit's destroyed.

I support Caroline, because despite the Government attempts over many years, to destroy It's spirit - it has always refused to lay down & be silenced. Of course the reality, is a lot of dedicated & talented individuals, who also refuse to "Roll over" - Because of all this, even the Government finally respected Caroline's determination to continue, & gave the station a licence - with very minimal restrictions. and rather cheekily, transmitting 4kw from a wonderful site, that in it's stupidity, the BBC abandoned intact at Orfordness.

I hope power can be increased still further, so 648 can be more comfortably be heard in daylight, whilst mobile, in a larger part of the UK.

Little Atlantis, though - I hope will be remembered, by at least - some of us.
