Latest US figures I can find on a quick search, June 2021, show that in the US 41.9% of listening to the radio was in the car/van/lorry, 38.8% at home, 16.6% at work, 2.7% elsewhere.

Latest UK figures are 63% home, 23% car/van/lorry, 14% work/elsewhere. Quite a difference.
