It's been Manx Radio's policy to turn off AM and replace it with DAB for many years. They've now got the two licenced Isle of Man FM commercial stations to agree to go on the DAB trial. There is a BBC national DAB transmitter at Douglas.
I'm sure the RC management team has spoken to Chris at Manx Radio about this situation.
