I was listening to 1368khz this morning and they were explaining how the AM service is available on DAB.
Will be a sad day to see the end of 1368khz or maybe just maybe it will be put to good use - who knows -time will tell.

It is interesting that they are relaying both FM and AM outlets, and specifically state that the Radio Caroline broadcasts will be covered. No good for the likes of me, living in the North West, but shows some ongoing commitment.
The trial launched today.

A more detailed article on the trial, including coverage map, and DAB+ is on this webpage.

It will be a sad day when/if 1368khz gets turned off.
I could think of a good use for it ....
Maybe the DAB trial will be a failure -- look what happened to DAB with RTE .
