They've posted a tribute to Gordon Lightfoot, he's a board member,including photos of him coming up to meet surviving family members of those who died in the tragedy on it's 40th anniversary.

Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald was on repeat on the speakers for the rooms with exhibitions indoors. Must admit I did tire of hearing it again and again after a while. The bell from the vessel was salvaged and is on display there.
Tap/click Edmund Fitzgerald and there's a photo of the bell as well as YouTube videos of an interview with the captain of the Arthur M Anderson, the vessel that was 10 miles behind her when the tragedy happened and a 6 minute recording "The Lost Fitzgerald Search Tapes" of radio chatter between him and the coastguard at the time. He'd been in contact with the Edmund Fitzgerald's captain and then found he wasn't answering his calls.
