Actually I quite respected Neil in the last days of Caroline at sea, in much the same way as any that gave their services for free at that time but now unfortunately he's just got bitter and twisted. He did have a hard time on occasions like when he was left alone on the ship in early 1990, but still he did his bit for Caroline at the time. I think if he'd not got so angry and vocal in recent years, he'd still be part of the mainstay presenters today. But, as he'd be quick to point out, he wouldn't want to be! It's a shame, really, as he was there helping out in what were desperate times for the station.
