"Hello
Since the BBC has decided it no longer wants many highly experienced and long serving presenters, then it’s reasonable to assume that they’re not really worried about the people that listened to the shows they presented.
But at Radio Caroline we’ve been making listeners welcome for nearly 60 years – and we’re so keen to include you, that I’ll be presenting a new Sunday evening show on Caroline from 22nd October in the same style as my former BBC show.
I’ll be playing the best songs, Caroline Classics, with, perhaps an occasional witty comment – it’s what I do!
It'll be available across most of the Caroline network: AM, FM, DAB, Smart Speaker … and Digital …
If you’d like to be updated with the latest info about this new show, then email me and we’ll get back to you with all the news"
A similar post appeared on hia twitter page this evening but it looks as if it has now been deleted.
The faceless ones at the BBC don't know anything about Radio Caroline. They have mistreated local radio staff across the country. They have made such a 'good' job of messing up LR that it will have little audience left so they can then justify closing it all down and save even more money to fund their bloated lifestyles.
I wonder if they have been nasty to him, as they know he also works for Caroline?
There is quite a bit more about this topic from Ray himself on his twitter feed. (Available to everyone, twitter account not needed)

Just remembered I could do this.

I just saw this online.
A BBC radio presenter has slammed bosses for 'cruel' treatment as he claims they kept him in the dark over the future of his radio show for 12 months.
Presenter Ray Clark has now quit Radio Essex, where he has covered a regional show after he revealed he had been given "little notice" over his final dates so felt forced to take the matter into his own hands. The regional radio presenter then revealed he would be finishing his radio show next month after branding his treatment by bosses as "cruel and unfair".
