I'm afraid, that's also my experience of DAB, better quality than AM WHEN it works, but much of the time in the Forest area, where I live - it's mostly non-existant.
Caroline on AM is a far more consistent signal.
Removal of stations on AM, is depriving many people of the stations & music they love.
Perhaps it's all part of the degrading of much of society's services? - NHS dentists & getting a doctor's appointment, are just two other examples. Previous Message
In my nearest town, Bury St Edmunds, DAB reception on most stations cuts in and out as you move around the town. Previous Message
I can confirm that in my part of Kent DAB I have a very poor reception on most stations.
