In reply to Ian Anderson question, the Ross trawler model would appear to be from a Revell kit of a North Sea trawler - the Ross Jackal. A friend saw some kits in Hobbycraft recently. The Jackal is much shorter than the Ross, so for accuracy the hull would need to be extended at least, and then there's building the aerial mast...
