I was only 12 at the time and didn't know anything about it until word of mouth go around my school. Looking at some of the folk who contribute to this board, I would love to know what it felt like with the build to Laser 558 and finally coming on air - test transmissions, quality of reception and sound, launch, music format, DJs, etc. Was it exciting? Radio these days is of course very different so I imagine many may not appreciate what it was like... Memories, thoughts, etc. would be appreciated.
