I've never said before but in 1972 I was regularly mistaken for Rick Nelson.
But over time I evolved and morphed in to being more like Horatio Nelson.
One only hopes that when the Admiral on his deathbed said ' kiss me Hardy ' It was Francoise that he was dreaming of.
PM.

I remember her mainly for the" saddest song in the world"
the rather beautiful " All Over the World " from 1965. A haunting melody over pretty piano cadences, about lovers having to meet and part. It became her biggest UK hit, though never troubled the Top Ten. Chicago played it as his fave song at the RNI closedown in 1970.
Not sure why the song got under my skin, but when I first met my wife in 1972 she did look a lot like Ms Hardy. However, just like Radio Caroline, Anne evolved and metamorphosed into an exquisite and different creature.
