Obviously easy to say on a forum and quite a lot of legwork to fill three hours, but does give a great insight to the guys that were there and play to the guys who wished they were there.
Would love to have a Peter Chicago interview and Neil. But it is so easy to say to people forget your pride and your past and do it for others. But everyone views the world from a different perspective and sometimes if you don't have anything good to say you might as well say nothing. Think Neil has made it quite clear what he thinks of today's Caroline. Not so sure regarding Peter but if he is happy with not getting involved that's fine by me. I'm just happy with what he did to give me the memories that brought Caroline to us for all those years from the North Sea.
I still don't think they realise how much they have contributed to others lives by being that faceless friend at the other end of the radio. And some of us like to go to reminisce every so often, which is fine once a month.
I agree Steve - Peter & Neil, could both make a strong contribution to the 1980s reunion (as could Mark Matthews AKA Peter Kirk) - but both seem to have "issues" with Peter Moore - which is pretty sad for all.
Time has moved on, 1990 was 34 years ago, & we are all getting older - perhaps it is high time, to forgive & forget?
Yes this was very good tribute, but I thought the best radio was the interview with Robb Eden, I never realised how pivotal Robb was in the years leading up to the Ross being used.
It would be great to hear Peter Chicargo on a special broadcast and if Neil could swallow his pride and come back it would near complete the full circle.
But anyway it was great radio for us all to enjoy.
