That Tony Allan recording from 31st October 1974 fills a gap in my collection. That post Dutch MoA period was probably my favourite period when Caroline was a true album station with a good smattering of soul and funk that included in the playlist.

In the 80s I tape traded for a bit with a guy called John Patrick from Grimsby (a name I remember). We shared a mutual taste for Tony Allan on R Caroline and John as you can see did these lovely little inlay cards with his own designs. I'll upload some of these shows from 1974-79 starting tomorrow.

Tony Allan 1974/1975 Two new years for the price of one on Caroline as Tony Allan says good bye to 1974 and welcomes in 1975. It's the Dutch new year at 11pm and the UK new year an hour later. Lots of dedications and love vibes from Tony and the crew on board the Mi-Amigo.

Because I'm enjoying listening to them so much I'll upload another Tony Allan show tomorrow. Lunchtime show from June 1977. Only an hour but the range of music is stupendous. You wouldn't have got that on Paul Burnett I'm telling you.
