Although that whistle did seem to appear whatever wavelength Big L tried, so maybe it was a fault with the transmitter rather than the frequency.

Off topic, I heard some of your reminiscences about Radio 270. I was a Big L follower, interesting when they camped on the same frequency as 270 for a while. I wrote a letter to Big L, I'm sure it was that which motivated them to move.
