However, on one point I think Dave has clearly experienced a slight memory lapse. He recounts his experience on his first tender trip to join the Galaxy at the end of December 1964. He says that the tender was transporting DJs both to Radio London and Radio Caroline and he describes his fellow passengers as Earl Richmond from Radio London and Simon Dee and Mike Ahern from Radio Caroline, repeatedly referring to things that Mike Ahern had said during the trip.
This would surely be impossible as Mike Ahern started his Caroline career on the North ship and didn't join Caroline South until April 1966. Previous Message
