Thanks Freddie. That would fit then if Droitwich has been drastically reduced. A two thirds reduction at Droitwich is a big drop and it could be that others are being dropped by as much as that which must same a massive amount on the electricity bills. It seems likely that 909 and 693 have only around a year left on the air since the BBC stated they would end all AM broadcasting by 2027.
It's very noticeable that the few stations left on MW get out very well these days with the big drop in interference from distant co-channel stations. It's just spoiled by the massive electrical noise floor in urban areas.
