Chiel was a real gentleman.I had the pleasuere of doing a couple of gigs in the early seventies with him. A true radio man. He will be missed. Lots of strength to his loved ones and friends.

Chiel Montagne, real name Bert van Rheenan, one of the classic late-sixties Radio Veronica team, passed away at the age of 80 last Thursday after years of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
