Thanks for your reply Chris, I think you are correct about the Captain Cook not having authority or insurance. Do you remember the 2 smartly dressed chaps with brief cases that had free radio stickers on them and that they just sat there not communicating with anybody? Word went round that they were Government/Home Office people and the organiser of the trip (who's name I can't remember) tried to say they were 2 people who actually helped Radio Caroline! That would appear to the trip on the Captain Cook, a riverboat that I heard later had been fined as it didn't have authority or insurance to go that far ou to sea.
I remember the yellow inflatable, with Chicago in, somewhere have some pictures.
