It’s sad news.

I first got to know Nigel in 1979 when he operated Radio Utopia on shortwave. We met a coupe of times in
Ireland when we both worked on the pirates. I know he later spent a lot of time on the Ross Revenge.

Then lost touch for many years until around three years ago when we started to talk regularly on Fb messenger.

He told me he was ill but still maintained that enthusiasm he had for radio and music.
