For those of you who like living radio history (everyone!?), you can re-live an entire day of Radio Seagull, as transmitted live from the Mi Amigo from it's first day on July 24th, 1973 until February 23rd, 1974 when keeping the same format, we reverted back to the name Caroline.
On Christmas day, December 25th, The current Radio Seagull will open it's archive and air some programmes for the original beginnings of our radio station. We will feature 12 different shows starting at 07:00
We are calling the day "Radio Seagull Vintage". Full schedule with original transmission dates below:
I shall introduce each hour, announcing the presenter, and setting the scene where appropriate. If you cannot manage the daytime broadcasts, they will all be repeated through the evening and night. You will also hear something at the top of each hour, you may not have heard for a very long time. A memory shaker, although I shall not respond to any guesses.
