Gerry1 in Digital Spy said he was driving with Radio Caroline on the West Kent multiplex and it briefly changed to SE London/NW Kent. I've been told by more than one person that can happen on some DAB sets if the same station is showing the same name on another multiplex that is giving a stronger signal. It wasn't the case when he retuned the SE London/NW Kent multiplex the next day.
The North London DAB multiplex is using six transmitters, the trial had 3. Only one site the same as in the trial. 2 200 watts, 1 140 watts, 2 125 watts, 1 100 watts in the application. Small adjustment to lower power when Ofcom awarded the licence so as not to affect others on the same channel. Single frequecy network means you often receive a signal from more than one transmitter. Coverage map for robust(dark green) and strong (light green) signals giving indoor reception. Nearly 4 million people have indoor coverage. There will be areas of mobile and indoor coverage outside the polygon.

26 stations on the multiplex, still has space for a few more

Not sure this information is correct, Caroline’s not on either of the east London muxes, it is on the North London one which was the old Trial London which seems to have much more robust signal in its area.
It gets out well into East London, but not good enough for car listening, too many drop outs, but better than when it was known as trial
