From here , 300W at 576 into my electrically short aerial results in positive ID at wooferton.
500W into the same antenna at 765 gives about the same S/N,
Max power I can raise at 1476 doesent register at all at wooferton
however locally, the opposite is the case because the electrically short antenna is much more efficient at the top end of the band

594 is a poor night time channel. Morocco uses 595 and is quite strong, so would cause a bad het.
576 not clear at night here. not sure the dominant stn. (bulgaria??)
765... agreed. cracking freq....
Theres a few channels more mid band and higher in freq now, for qrp dx stations.... especially as Spain has closed so many, and also Romania closes at 2000.... some channels have absolutely nothing on them now after romania goes off... great for low powered hobby stations... amazing to be witness to the slow demise of am....
