Excellent 35 minute documentary in Hour 3 of Robbie Owen's Juke Box Drive on Corby Radio this evening:

Narrated by Peter Phillips, this is the story of how Radio Caroline found the Ross Revenge, acquired the vessel, and then fitted it out as a radio ship. Lots of detail from Peter Chicago and Charlie Taylor, along with stories from former crew members of the Ross when it was an Icelandic waters trawler. Script by Ray Clark. Followed by some of the songs from Tom Anderson's August 1983 "Musical Journey" which re-opened the station.

"My Daughter Staples them together, for Howard Rose" name meant nothing to me, so I wrote Phone Number down
Rang him up, and Listening to him, I thought, is it?... so I said "Are you Jay Jackson?" "Yes" he said
He wanted to start a Pirate Station in Kettering, and asked about locations, but eventually KCBC happened
and I ended up working there with Robbie and the rest of the crew...just shows you...Small World
