More power would indeed be nice. Of course the DX25 is running a little more than 4kW to achieve the 4kW EMRP, I would guess somewhere around 6kW. Were the kind folk at Ofcom to authorize an EMRP of 10kW then the TX could be run at around 15kW. No doubt Alan could confirm the actual efficiency of the ⅛λ folded unipole antenna.

10.05 am Friday - Steve Dack just said there is a problem with the main transmitter so the reserve transmitter is on with low power.
