It had gotten inside the chicken yard. It's a good thing I saw it on the video, it would have died.

It was a big crow. I held it around the wings like I hold the chickens, while I got the netting off from around its neck.

It kept biting me if I got my fingers anywhere near its beak. So I grabbed a stick. It bit the stick and held it, that prevented it from biting me. Once I got the netting off from around its neck the bird had my finger tightly clenched in its foot. I tried petting it and talking softly the whole time. I put my hand on the ground outside the run, finally it let go and flew away.

I'll have to watch the crow behavior for a few days. I wonder if the others will realize I rescued it. The birds were sure making a lot of noise. The chickens were upset too.
