I was 14, and I once helped out in a recording session with Muriel Tilton and the Lawrence Brothers. Bertram was playing keyboard, so I was the only one in the control room. I ran the stopwatch to time the song, and I operated the reverb according to instructions. For a 14 year old, this was very exciting.
