CHARLOTTESVILLE — More than a dozen of the nation’s most prominent white supremacists and hate groups conspired to intimidate, harass or commit acts of violence during 2017′s deadly Unite the Right rally, according to a jury that also decided the men and their racist organizations should pay $26 million in damages.

The 11 jurors couldn’t come to an agreement on two federal conspiracy claims, but they found that every defendant — including former alt-right leader Richard Spencer, rally organizer Jason Kessler and Christopher Cantwell, dubbed the “crying Nazi” after sharing a video of himself weeping — was liable under Virgina law.

“We think that is a resounding verdict today and frankly a good sign for the future on the remaining counts,” plaintiffs attorney Karen Dunn said, referring to the allegations that the men conspired to commit racially motivated violence and failed to stop it — accusations her clients might pursue again in a future lawsuit.

For 16 days, jurors listened to arguments inside a red brick federal courthouse a mile from the University of Virginia’s Rotunda, where four years ago white supremacists marched with torches and chanted “Jews will not replace us.” Just blocks away was the spot where James Alex Fields Jr., a neo-Nazi, plowed his car through a crowd of protesters on Aug. 12, 2017, striking four of the people who later brought the lawsuit and killing 32-year-old Heather Heyer.

The nine plaintiffs’ attorneys took up the vast majority of that time, presenting text messages, social media posts, videos and expert testimony that meticulously reconstructed how the defendants conspired in advance of that weekend.

Even in Charleston those patriots protesting to removal of a statue way outnumbered any white supremacists.

There are not enough white supremacists in the country to be any kind of a threat.

The Biden administration calls many people white supremacists when most of them are not. Joe Biden is a pathological liar.

Marxist regimes need enemies, white supremacists are such a small minority that this hysteria is quite laughable.

The white supremacist myth is itended as a distraction from ANTIFA/BLM terrorists.

All protections of African Americans were abandoned afterward, paving the way for Jim Crow.

Later, the history of the Confederacy and the antebellum South was rewritten (The Lost Cause), so that the latter could be lionized.

One reason for this was for southern traitors to assuage their guilt.

The other was to remind African Americans of their place, and that no one would help them if they stepped out of line.

Slavery was a crime against humanity, and no one was held accountable.

Chief Seattle owned eight slaves and he still has a city named after him.

V. P. Rufus King owned slaves and he had a county named after him. A crooked and PC woke politician renamed the county after MLK. Another good example of black privilege.

A smart move since millions supported slavery.

It would have taken executions at the Marxist level to punish them all.

The early tribes held slaves and also practiced cannibalism. Their frequent tribal wars killed many.

Thanksgiving can also be a day for people of tribal ancestry to be thankful for becoming more civilized.

I would single out the leaders of the Confederacy, the generals, and executives. There weren't that many. The hangings could have been completed within days.

I wish I had a dollar every time I hear a liberal say they want somebody held accountable. But regardless if your questionable theories are true, the FACT is the country did get back together and we were all better off for it.
