The Climate Cultists and their tyrants are making it impossible to grow adequate food. The Russians are cutting natural gas, which cuts ammonia production, which cuts fertilizer production.
The US could fill in by increasing natural gas big-time, but again the Climate Cultists rule the day.
Many so-called environmentalists are causing fertilizer to become more scarce, or not used at all. We cannot grow adequate food without it.
We could produce zero CO2 and it wouldn't significantly reduce planetary CO2. Countries much larger than the US and Europe combined are actually increasing their CO2 releases. The science isn't clear on CO2's role in the climate in the first place. Some believe it is the effect rather than the cause of warming. Global CO2 has been a lot higher in the past.
The globalists speak of "truncating the bottom of the population pyramid". It appears that the Green Cultists are willing to see population reduction by famine as well. After all, some of them actually believe they are saving the planet.
The global famine is predicted to start in 2023 and really get going in 2024. Tens or hundreds of millions will die, and all for nothing.
When the global famine really gets going, don't forget who is causing it and why.
