Looks like the "Drain The Swamp" board got shut down.

Some idiots are speculating as to why it was shut down. Why don't we find out the real reason? If Johnny was still listed as the admin he can ask Boardhost exactly what happened.

Shaman and/or Johnnie, please answer this, I'm really curious.

Was there a valid email address where Boardhost could notify you of offensive posts or TOS violations?

Did you not get any emails?

I would really like to know more about how this board got shut down.

Boardhost says that posts are more limited on the free boards since advertisers are involved. Perhaps it was a mistake to change this to a free board.

I looked into free boards, but a political board that is at all controversial might not be "appealing" to advertisers.

Some advice for Stoogie regarding his board.

Stop listening to idiots like Johnny Salt. He was a terrible moderator.

Don't keep that huge banned IP list around for too long, or people using a very popular VPN will be blocked.

I generally delete banned IPs as soon as I can, with only a few exceptions.

I only rarely ban IPs. Johnny bans your IP if you make him look stupid. And that's all too easy to do.

Remember, Johnny Salt lies, I have never made a complaint to Boardhost.

Avoid the free ones unless your board is totally non-controversial.

Good VPNs are not free either.
