Avoid The Annoyance, Aggravation And Stress Of Having Your Radio Talk Show Preempted W/ Sports Games

In the Seattle market KPTR 1090 really sucks. Their online schedule is often wrong, and they preempt without any warning. Today they cut off Jesse Kelly about half way through his show. So I searched for another station that did not preempt, and had a similar schedule. If I always stream KQNT 590 instead I can avoid the aggravation of a preemption.
Too bad for the local sponsors on KPTR 1090. If enough of us stream KQNT 590 to avoid the annoyance of the creeps at KPTR 1090, the local sponsors will lose some of their audience.
I use this Streaming Radio Guide to help me find my show on an alternative station:
Be sure to set your time zone so the display time is correct for you. Note that this site displays a baseball icon if the creeps at a station preempt with sports games. By clicking shows on the lower right column you can indicate it is one of your “favorites”. This site has a bit of a learning curve, but it is very useful.
Bookmark the alternative station URL, and you will never have to hear your local station cut off your program again. In this case, both stations have an almost identical list of shows and times.
(At first the browser that opened with the alternative station did not have an icon to bookmark it. So I copied the URL to a new browser window and finally got the bookmark icon.)
