Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland. Just off the top of my head. And everyone knows, except for American jerkoff bumpkins.

Nordic/"Democratic Socialist" Confusion

Countries like Sweden, Denmark, Norway, and Finland are frequently (and incorrectly) cited as socialist successes. They are capitalist market economies with high taxes, generous welfare, and strong property rights/private ownership. Their leaders (e.g., Danish PM) explicitly reject the "socialist" label. They rank high in economic freedom indices and prospered via free markets before expanding welfare.

High welfare is funded by capitalist wealth creation; over-expansion (e.g., 1970s Sweden) caused stagnation, reversed by liberalization.
