I pass my tablet around for those who want to read aloud, and most do. They are pretty good readers. Keeping everyone quiet when others are reading is my biggest challenge! I have no idea how the 5th grade teacher manages her class of 40 kids!!!!
I asked the teacher to sign me onto the school's Wi-Fi. I had already downloaded the book we read yesterday. But, I plan to look around the internet to find some online reading for the future . . . especially things that include pictures.
