With $5 million, even with missteps, families should be able to recover—and individuals to perhaps learn a life lesson. One can’t point a finger at anyone if he or she bumbles 5 mil.
Yes, if the family members with the beach front property were hurting financially, they would certainly put pressure on the others to turn the property to immediate liquidity.
My main concern about reparations is not that we don't deserve it BUT what comes after we get it..
We don't have a single legit & functioning financial institution, not one!
So as soon as we get money it goes right back into the white community..
And let's not even talk about how consumerist & materialistic we are..
About 3 weeks ago a Black community in California won back the rights to land the local gov't had taken illegally from AAs..
A month after they won back the land they turned right back and sold it to the same local gov't..Madness!!
Land is something that appreciates yet they controlled the property for less than 6 months ..
.. I noticed Kris Columbus NEVER told us about that story. Bastard!!
