EXACTLY, but does the Black community really understand that basic rule and how it affects the kind of representation we choose/elect?
The way it stands right now, we have certain political personalities selected by others and presented to us as the only option. We then go into the voting booth thinking that the person really has a Black agenda but usually it's secondary to the interests of their financial backers.
I think we can only control those we vote for ONLY if we actually fund their campaigns and hold them accountable & responsible.
Right now the Black community is played badly by black-faced politicians.
President Obama would have never bombed, destroyed, and assassinated Muammar Gaddafi if his primary political obligation & loyalty was to the Black community.
