The drumming at the beginning reminded me of my meeting the great jazz drummer Ed Thigpen. I listened to a set that he sat in on when he was visiting the club I was at. My mouth dropped open when he started beating on those drums. WoWW!!! Never heard a sound like that before in my life. To my surprise, when he finished he bellied up to the bar right next to me and i actually had an opportunity to talk with him. Very distinguished guy. Ill never forget his short answer to the question i asked him which was "What makes a great drummer?" "Less is more" he stated.
