Maestro, I was flabbergasted to read that she influenced early rock-and-roll musicians, including Little Richard, "Chuck Berry", Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins, Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis, and also later guitarists, such as Eric Clapton. She must have been a bad asss guitarist.
I wonder if Jimi Hendrix wasn't influenced by her? I bet he was, directly or indirectly. Previous Message
Some kick-arse stuff there, theone. Sister Rosetta Tharpe's licks and sound are incredibly similar to the Chess record label sound back in the 50's. And if you close your eyes and listen only, you'd think on parts of that video, Chuck Berry was playing lead guitar. And what a Joy listening to the voice of Queen Omega. Wow!! That's a grand slammer for you, theone.

"""""WAIT, I didn't know Gary Coleman could play the piano?"""""
That's not Gary Coleman, its Frank "sugar Chile" Robinson. At age 7 he was a big shot already. Sugar Chile performed for President Truman at the White House Correspondent's Dinner. His legacy remained and in 2016 president Obama invited him back to the White House Correspondents Dinner to celebrate 70 years since his first groundbreaking appearance.
As for the house music you were too quick to make this reasoning. And for this reason you're gonna see more house music selections coming at you on "Monday Jams". ( )
