The viewership for YouTube is exploding while mainstream/media/TV is steadily losing viewers.

"YouTube has steadily grown its share of TV watching--it's up 53% over the past two years", as per Nielsen's data. [3.25]

Also, between 2014 and 2024 YouTube grew from 1 billion monthly active users to over 2.5 billion users. Whoa, cool!!!
